• To Congress: Reauthorize the Perkins Act

    Today we joined over 200 businesses and other organizations in writing to Congress to urge reauthorization of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act (Perkins). Together, we recommended that the reauthorization include alignment of career tech programs to labor market needs; support collaboration between secondary and postsecondary institutions and employers; increase student participation in experiential learning opportunities; and promote the use of industry-recognized credentials.
